DWA6 AMAZON MURAL

In 2022, Spring Quarter at Green River College, I was taking a beginner graphic design class. I had an amazing teacher, Jessie, who was given the opportunity to share to the class that DWA6, an Amazon shipping facility in Kent, Washington was looking for artists.
Spencer Quinn, the executive assistant reached out
and it just so happened my friend, Tianna, I knew from school growing up was taking the same class as me. We both reached out as a team to take this
amazing opportunity.
After spring quarter finished and we graduated with our Associates, we got the ball rolling on the mural during the summer. We would go in about 1-2 times
a week to create the mural, Tianna and I had one summer to complete this.
Our Goal:
Maintain Amazon values and branding while
bringing the space to life.
Amazon hired us unpaid to create the mural and covered all the cost of transportation and art supplies.
This was one of my most memorable experiences working with space design and working with a big company to bring their visions to life.
